Marcel Schijf

Marcel Schijf is an Inspector Materiovigilance at the Dutch Competent Authority (CA) for medical devices, the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ). He holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and has 19 years of fundamental research and laboratory diagnostics experience within the field of Virology & Immunology. Since 2016 he is working on PMS & Vigilance at the Medical Technology department, with the focus on Vitro Diagnostics (IVD). Besides being a member of the MDCG-PMSV and MDCG-EUDAMED, he is also actively participating in the Vigilance CA board, a subgroup of CA’s cooperating with the industry on the testing of the Eudamed Vigilance module.
